Guidelines for Social Distancing

The Texas Governor’s office released guidance for Houses of Worship during the COVID-19 crisis. Here are a few important notes for our in-person gatherings.
We look forward to worshipping and praying together in our building and online!
Social Distancing

We will observe social distancing guidelines before, during, and after each service. Everyone will be asked to observe the 6-ft rule at all times.

Face Masks

All of our ushers and greeters will be wearing a face masks and gloves during each service.

Wearing a face mask is optional for our congregants.

Seating

People will be seated as they arrive together with their family including children. Everyone will be dismissed in an orderly fashion.

Family members will be seated together, and family groupings will be seated 6 feet apart. People traveling to the service together may also be seated together.

Kids/Youth

There will NOT be separate kids/youth ministries, but children are welcome to attend the service with their family in the main auditorium. We will provide activities and programing during the service for the children.

Live Stream

The service will also be streamed LIVE on Facebook and gulfmeadowschurch.org for anyone wishing to participate online.

High Risk and Symptomatic Conditions

If you’re sick, we ask that you please stay home and participate online.

If you’re in the high-risk category, please use your discretion knowing that you have the option of worshipping online.

Sanctuary Disinfection

We’ve sprayed and disinfected the entire building, and we will continue to implement environmental cleanliness and sanitization practices.

We will also be disinfecting al seating areas in between every service after congregants exit the building

This includes disinfecting door handles, countertops, chairs, and other frequently-touched surfaces, etc. Also, hand sanitizer will be available at every entrance.

PASTORS

JOE AND BECKY KEENAN

Joe and Becky Keenan have been involved in ministry for more than 30 years. Together they lead a congregation that reflects the
diversity of the growing city of Houston.

Our mission is to change the world  and to fulfill the commission that Jesus Christ gave to His followers to go into the world and make disciples of all people. Our purpose is to save the lost and to build up and encourage those who are already believers.

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house.  Test Me in this, says the LORD Almighty, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”  Malachi 3:10
